Barronico

What is Barronico?

+

Barronico is a concept store and a digital marketing agency specialising in shops and retail, at Calle Balborraz 14, Zamora, Spain. It has two sides: MATERIA, the shop, workshop and design studio, and CÓDIGO, the agency. We call it Phygital Craft: handmade and digital under one roof.

Who is behind Barronico?

+

Juan Carlos Barrón, a visual merchandiser and window dresser with 28 years in stores such as Zara, Chanel, Lladró and Galeries Lafayette. Barronico is part of the Maison Barron group, alongside BARRONVISUAL, Manta Zamorana and MariTere Retail School.

Where are you?

+

At C/ Balborraz, 14, 49002 Zamora, Spain, at street level on the artisans' street of the old town. The shop opens very soon; in the meantime you can write to info@barronico.es.

Do you only work in Zamora?

+

No. We're based in Zamora but work for the world: in Spanish, English and French, in person in Zamora and online anywhere.

MATERIA · Concept store, workshop and design studio

What can I buy at MATERIA?

+

Small-run designer pieces: customised t-shirts, ceramics and porcelain, objects and reworked vintage, plus one-of-a-kind pieces by other avant-garde makers.

Do you do clothing alterations?

+

Yes. The shop has a basic and couture sewing workshop: alterations, fittings and garment customisation.

What does the design studio do?

+

Signature shop windows, small shop design, neighbourhood-scale visual merchandising, visual and brand identity, handmade props, installations and fit-outs, fashion and product photography, social media content and concepts for special events. Big-budget commercial windows, visual merchandising systems and training are done at BARRONVISUAL.

Do you dress shop windows and events?

+

Yes. We design and install shop windows and product displays for your store, and bring shops, openings, launches, pop-ups and events to life. Designed to attract and sell, not just to look pretty.

Do you have an online shop?

+

Not yet. The online shop is coming soon, with shipping across Spain and Europe.

CÓDIGO · Digital marketing agency

What does the CÓDIGO agency do?

+

Digital marketing for shops, independent stores and retail brands: content, SEO (on Google and in AI assistants), social media, ads, websites and online stores, and data-driven growth.

Why an agency specialising in shops?

+

Because selling online is a lot like selling in a store: the window is the homepage, the hot spots are the product sections and the till is the checkout. After 28 years designing customer journeys that sell in physical stores, we bring the same eye to digital.

How much does a website cost?

+

Three fixed-price tiers: Starter, a basic website, €390; Grow, a corporate website with blog and extended SEO, €1,190; and Scale, an online store ready to sell, €2,990. They're purchased with secure payment through BARRONVISUAL, Barronico's sister studio.

Do you offer free audits?

+

Yes. We review your website and your Google profile for free and tell you what we'd fix first. Ask for it at info@barronico.es.

Do you work with small shops?

+

Yes, and we love it. Much of what we do is for local businesses and independent stores that want to sell online too without losing their personality.
