Barronico

Barronico · Universe

The most personal part of Maison Barron.

Before any brand existed, there was a shop window and a camera.

Origin

It started on Facebook, over 15 years ago. I photographed shop windows in London, Paris and Madrid and shared them for free, for anyone who wanted to see them. I sold nothing, asked for nothing in return. I just wanted people to see work that almost no one stopped to look at. That habit, looking, capturing and sharing without charging, is the real origin of everything that came after.

Journey

London, Paris, Madrid, Valencia, Murcia, Perpignan, Zamora. Zara, Chanel, Lladró, Galeries Lafayette. 28 years inside stores, in front of shop windows, and now in front of screens too.

Why two worlds

That path gave birth to BARRONVISUAL, the studio, the professional side of phygital retail. And in parallel, everything that didn't fit in a client brief: the objects I wanted to make, the code I wanted to write, the t-shirts that wanted to say something. That's what I call Barronico. It's not a sub-brand of BARRONVISUAL: it's the lab it comes from, the place where I test judgement before it becomes a system.

Two crafts

Inside Barronico, two crafts share the same criterion: MATERIA, the object and the garment, handmade or in short runs; and CÓDIGO, the website and the digital system, built with the same care. One is touched, the other is coded. Both sell by the same logic: a good shop window, physical or digital, is one that makes someone stop.

Maison Barron

Barronico is one of the brands in the Maison Barron ecosystem, its most intimate and artistic part. The others:
